Garlock/Flexitallic Style 600/100 A plain all metal corrugated gasket for use in low pressure applications that require a thin line contact because of space or weight limitations. Corrugated gaskets are a versatile sealing element where the available bolt loads are low. Depending on the materials and construction these gaskets can be very resilient.
An economical sealing solution for flanges with low available bolt preloads in low-pressure applications. The flexible graphite covering layer flows into the flange surface finish at several points of contact due to t he corrugated metallic base. This design gives the seal resilience and can be manufactured to suit standard ASME/ANSI flanges as well as many OEM applications.
Corrugated Solid Metal with Inlay Garlock Style 605
This gasket allows a positive seal between rough or uneven flange faces. Typically these gaskets are inlaid with non-asbestos glass cord for use in flanges where available bolt loads are low. Corrugated gaskets also are manufactured with a flexible graphite inlay for flanges with increased bolt loads. Flexible graphite inlay is an excellent gasket for media with a fine molecular structure.
Solid Metal with Flexible Graphite Covering Garlock/Flexitallic Style 606/101
This gasket is identical to style 640, covered with an added layer of flexible graphite. This covering layer will fill flange face imperfections sometimes found in flanges that have not been properly maintained.
Single Jacketed Garlock/Flexitallic Style 620/120
Generally used where the radial dimensions of the equipment sealing surfaces only allow space for a narrow width seal. Single jacketed gaskets are constructed by encasing the soft filler material on one face and both edge s.
Double Jacketed Garlock/Flexitallic Style 623/123
The double jacketed gasket has good compressibility and resilience and is the most popular clad gasket manufactured.
Single Jacketed Overlap Garlock/Flexitallic Style 624/124
Construction of this gasket offers more filler protection than the standard single jacketed design (Style 620). It is especially useful for applications where the radial dimensions do not allow space for a double jacketed gasket.
Double Jacketed Corrugated Garlock/Flexitallic Style 626/126
Garlock Style 626 employs a corrugated jacket to increase resilience. Suited for circular and non-circular applications in widths of 3/8" and wider, it is an improvement over the standard Double Jacketed Style 623 gasket. If slight leakage should occur across the primary seal at the inner edge of the gasket, the concentric corrugations act as labyrinth seals.
Double Shell Garlock/Flexitallic Style 627/127
The double shell on this gasket allows greater hoop strength and rigidity with the addition of a completely overlapping inner seal. This gasket will withstand higher compressive loads common in high pressure applications.
Double Jacketed Corrugated with Corrugated Filler Garlock/Flexitallic Style 629/129
The metal filler in Style 629 has greater resilience to problems resulting from temperature changes. This unique multi-ply construction provides a more resilient gasket that adapts well to temperature and pressure cycling problems. The temperature limits of this gasket are governed only by the metal selected.
Two Piece French Type Garlock/Flexitallic Style 631/635
Ideal for narrow circular applications which require a positive unbroken metal gasket line across the full width of the flange. The filler is exposed on the outside diameter. This gasket is also available in one and thre e piece designs.
Selected Metal and Cerafelt® Garlock Style 635
This gasket is a modified two piece French type designed for use in light weight flanges. A thick compressible layer of Cerafelt® is shielded on the I.D. with two French type shields welded together. This is a common gask et for use in duct work to handle very hot gasses.
Solid Metal Garlock/Flexitallic Style 640/140
Solid metal gaskets are available in almost any desired configuration.
Serrated Metal Garlock-"Profile" Flexitallic-"Kammprofile"
Serrated metal gaskets combine the desirable qualities of a solid metal gasket with the advantages of a reduced area of contact, thereby reducing the bolt load required to effect a seal. The serrated portion of the g asket can be covered with a nonmetallic element such as flexible graphite, which will allow the gasket to seal most flanges, which are excessively pitted or scored.
Single and Double Jacketed with Serrated metal Profile
Metal jacketed profile gaskets employ the same principle of reduced contact area while protecting the flange faces from damage due to scoring.
Energized Metallic Seal (EMS) Garlock style 670
This seal is used in applications where greater gasket resilience is required. The winding provides resiliency, while the jacket provides winding protection.
