The family of GORE-TEX GR® Sheet Gasketing products can be used in
all types of sealing applications throughout industry. Inert to
practically all chemicals, they can be used for all chemical processing
and transporting applications. There tight sealability assures minimum
product loss in gaseous material processing. Unaffected by steam and
condensate, they're ideal for broiler and piping flanges. Non-degrading
up to 600 degrees F (315 degrees C), they maintain a realiable seal even
under severe thermal cycling conditions. They will seal damaged or worn
flanges, even those made of fragile materials such as porcelain, FRP, and
glass/steel.
GORE-TEX® Joint Sealant can be used in virtually all types of
sealing applications throughout the industry. GORE-TEX® Joint Sealant
requires less stress to seal on rough flange surfaces, helping to protect
fragile flanges and delicate assemblies. This product is ideal for
large, complex, or damaged sealing surfaces due to its strong yet
comformable nature. Because there is no precutting and no wasteful
scrap, it saves you time and money when sealing large equipment flanges.
Since it is so versitile and inert to most chemicals, it's perfect for
the most challenging chemical processing applications. Gortex joint
sealant is resistant to creep and cold flow, it maintains a high level of
tightness eliminating the need to retorque after installation. The
self-adhesive backing makes it easy to install, even on vertical surfaces.
GORE-TEX® gasket tape is available in five precise thicknesses,
and is ideal for equipment that has close tolerances. It's
comformability makes it the best choice for complicated or damaged
flanges. It is unaffected by most chemicals to 600 degrees F(315
degrees C), it can withstand thermal cycling and direct chemical
condensate or particulate contact.
