This Product utilizes and external ring which accurately centers gasket
on flange face, providdes additional radial strength to prevent gasket
blow-out and acts as a compression stop. It is a general purpose gasket
suitable for use with flat faced and raised face flanges upto and
inclusive class 2500. Above class 600 an internal ring is recommended.
This product is a style CG gasket fitted with an internal ring which
gives an additional compression limiting stop, and provides heat and
corrosion barrier, protecting gasket windings and preventing flange
erosion. The style CGI is suitable for flat faces and raised flanges and
specialized for high temperature/pressureservice - class 900lb and above
or where corrosive or toxic media are present.
Basic construction type. Inner and Outer diameters are reinforced with
several piles of metal without filler to give greater stability and
better compression and sealing characteristics. This product is suitable
for tongue and groove or male or femaleor grooved to flat faced flange
assemblies. 
Solid inner metal ring acts as a compression stop and fills the annular
space between flange bore and the inside diameter. This product is
designed to prevent accumulation of solids, reduce turbulent flow of
process fluids and minimize erosion of flange surfaces. Suitable for
male and female pipe flanges.
